Summer Fun!

It may seem hard to believe that August is already upon us, but there’s no denying that the summer season is quickly rolling along! However, there are still plenty of weeks left to head outside and soak up some sun. If you’re needing a few ideas for great summer activities, check out our favorites below!

Hiking, biking...

Anyone living in Boise knows that there is no shortage of beautiful parks throughout our city. Whether it’s hiking through the hills at Camelsback, exploring the rose garden at Julia Davis, or a game of bocce at Municipal, you’re guaranteed to find something fun. And don’t forget that several parks have access to the Greenbelt where you can bike, walk, or run right next to the Boise River.

Whitewater...

We’re also anxiously awaiting the opening of Esther Simplot Park! As of right now, there isn’t a confirmed opening date, but the Greenbelt path between Whitewater Park Blvd and the 36th pedestrian bridge is available to the public. According to the park’s website, this 55-acre site will include everything from trails to wetlands to grassy open areas. There will also be a playground, bridges, and a stream that connects the park’s two ponds with Quinn’s Pond. Be sure to check out the park’s website for more details!

Like we said, plenty to do! So get out there and enjoy our lovely city!
